VP TO HIGHLIGHT HISTORIC MANUFACTURING INVESTMENTS IN GEORGIA ON “INVESTING IN AMERICA” TOUR

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Vice President Harris will be in Dalton, GA highlighting historic investments in clean energy and manufacturing thanks to the Biden-Harris agenda. Her visit, part of the administration’s “Investing in America” tour, will celebrate an investment from Qcells to bring 2,500 jobs to Georgia by 2024 – on top of 380,000 jobs already created statewide since President Biden and Vice President Harris took office.

“We’re seeing unprecedented clean energy investments and manufacturing job creation in Georgia thanks to the Biden-Harris agenda,” said Building Back Together spokesperson Eileen Garcia. “These are good-paying jobs that you can raise a family on and investments that will spur innovation statewide. President Biden and Vice President Harris are delivering for Georgia communities that have historically been left out and left behind, and that’s worth celebrating.”
