NEW AD: BUILDING BACK TOGETHER LAUNCHES SIX-FIGURE CAMPAIGN CHAMPIONING POTUS’ BIPARTISAN INFRASTRUCTURE DEAL, URGING SWIFT PASSAGE OF BUILD BACK BETTER ACT

WATCH AD: “A Bipartisan Deal

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Building Back Together is launching a new, six-figure television ad campaign thanking President Joe Biden and celebrating the historic passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal, as well as highlighting the continued urgency of passing the Build Back Better Act.

The ad, “A Bipartisan Deal,” will run in the Washington, D.C. market on cable news this week, and will highlight how the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal is a once-in-a-generation investment in our nation’s infrastructure, that “rebuilds our roads and bridges” and “brings manufacturing supply chains back to the U.S.,” underlining how President Biden “got it done.” The ad also underlines that there is “more to do” to keep the country “moving forward” and urges Congress to swiftly pass the Build Back Better Act to create jobs, lower the cost of things families depend on, from health care to utility bills, and ensure the ultra-wealthy and large corporations finally pay their fair share.

“By securing a historic, bipartisan victory to pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal, President Biden has shown that consensus and progress is still possible in Washington,” said Building Back Together Executive Director Danielle Melfi. “Our new ad campaign highlights how the President has delivered an enormous win for American families, and why Congress must build on this progress by swiftly passing the Build Back Better Act. Together, these transformative investments will rebuild our nation’s roads and bridges, create a generation of good-paying, union jobs, bring down the costs of things families depend on, and more.”

This latest campaign adds to Building Back Together’s more than $16 million in spending so far to boost the Build Back Better Agenda. In aggregate, the Build Back Better War Room — composed of dozens of progressive organizations and led by Building Back Together — has coordinated more than $150 million in paid media and on-the-ground organizing to ensure the President’s legislative agenda is signed into law.

Polling has consistently shown the deep popularity of the President’s agenda, and research commissioned by Building Back Together has shown that Members of Congress who back the agenda see a 17-point boost in support in battleground states and House districts.
