ICYMI: NEW POLLING SHOWS PRESIDENT BIDEN’S BUILD BACK BETTER ACT IS IMMENSELY POPULAR

Vast majority of Americans support the Build Back Better Act, American Rescue Plan economic stimulus

WASHINGTON, D.C. – This morning, Navigator Research released new polling further solidifying the consistent, broad support for the President’s Build Back Better Act. The Build Back Better Act is supported by more than three in five Americans and the legislation remains immensely popular when voters are told how the legislation will be paid for — by finally making the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share. Additionally, past economic stimulus delivered by President Biden also remains tremendously popular, with over three in four Americans, including 58 percent of Republicans, supporting the economic stimulus delivered by the American Rescue Plan.

New polling from Navigator Research emphasizes the popularity of President Biden’s agenda: 

• 64% of Americans support the Build Back Better Act when given a brief description of the legislation that includes paid leave.
  • 90% of Democrats support the Build Back Better Act.
  • 60% of Independents support the Build Back Better Act.

• 63% of Americans support the Build Back Better Act when given a brief description of how the legislation will be paid for.
  • 90% of Democrats support the Build Back Better Act when given a brief description of how the legislation will be paid for.
  • 59% of Independents support the Build Back Better Act when given a brief description of how the legislation will be paid for.

• 77% of Americans support the stimulus checks included in the American Rescue Plan.
  • 94% of Democrats support the stimulus checks.
  • 71% of Independents support the stimulus checks.
  • 58% of Republicans support the stimulus checks.
