Washington, D.C. — Building Back Together, a new 501(c)(4) not-for-profit focused on advancing progressive policies in the Build Back Better agenda, launches a multi-million dollar advertising campaign to mark the First 100 Days of the Biden-Harris Administration.

Building Back Together’s first-ever advertising campaign focuses on the Biden-Harris Administration’s First 100 Days, the American Rescue Plan and the American Jobs Plan. The TV ad will begin airing Monday, May 3 on broadcast television in select markets in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Nevada. Digital ads will also begin running on Monday to target audiences on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and more statewide in Georgia, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, and North Carolina.

The 60-second TV ad “Actions” and 15-second digital spot “100 days” will detail the progress that’s been made in just 100 days as a result of President Biden’s steady leadership and laser-focus on the needs of all Americans, regardless of who they voted for.

The ads will detail the impact of the American Rescue Plan on the everyday lives of people in communities across the country — from 160 million Americans receiving $1,400 to help make ends meet, to reopening schools, to giving a lifeline to small businesses to help them survive the pandemic, to providing resources for child care and lifting millions of children out of poverty. The ads will also lay out the path to building back better through the American Jobs Plan. In addition, the slate of digital ads will highlight the local impacts of the American Rescue Plan and the American Jobs Plan.

“We have a President who’s laser-focused on helping the American people, regardless of who they voted for. No angry tweets, just action and results,” said Executive Director Danielle Melfi. “Building Back Together is lifting up the impact of those actions taken in the First 100 Days — from checks in pockets to shots in arms to getting Americans back to work — and helping to clear the path ahead by building a groundswell of public support for the Build Back Better agenda, starting with the American Jobs Plan.”

Building Back Together Advisor Stephanie Cutter said, “Building Back Together is coming out strong, matching the aggressive pace of progress from the Biden-Harris Administration in the First 100 Days with a robust advertising campaign to ensure targeted communities in critical states understand the impact of these policies on their daily lives. In the context of these accomplishments, we’ll also begin building support for the American Jobs Plan. The message is simple: chaos is out, competence is in, and help is here for Americans.”

About Building Back Together:

With leadership in the White House and Congress that shares our values, we have a critical opportunity to advance a progressive agenda. But we know that it will take smart advocacy to build the case for these policies. Our name is intentional: we can’t do this work alone. We’ll partner with organizations to achieve policy successes and work together to communicate with the American people about how the Build Back Better agenda is changing lives in communities across the country.

The team at Building Back Together will:

  • Convene progressive organizations to partner on coordinated campaigns at the local, state and national level
