Washington, D.C. — Today, Building Back Together is announcing the beginning of a new $10 million campaign highlighting President Biden’s economic agenda that will kick off with new ads touting the historic passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal, and will continue when Congress passes the Build Back Better Act to lower costs for middle-class families.

The first ad of this campaign, “A Long Time Coming,” airing on broadcast and cable in key markets in Arizona, Georgia, New Hampshire, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, along with Washington, D.C., will run through Thanksgiving and celebrate the once-in-a-generation investments delivered by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal, thanking the President for breaking through the gridlock to secure a bipartisan deal that will rebuild roads and bridges, deliver clean drinking water and access to high-speed internet, and make America more competitive.

The push also kicks off with digital ads and billboards near infrastructure projects and repairs funded by the legislation, as President Biden hits the road to share the real-life impacts with Americans across the country, including his recent visit to New Hampshire. Building Back Together is also investing in boosting news clips on Facebook to share local impacts with key audiences. The overall ad campaign will target key audiences in battleground states, including Latino, Black, and AAPI constituencies that are critical to helping this agenda get passed.

“President Joe Biden delivered what many before him could not: a major, bipartisan victory for the American people that is the biggest investment in our nation’s infrastructure in half a century. We’re wasting no time communicating how these transformational investments will grow our economy, create good-paying jobs, and make the U.S. more competitive,” said Building Back Together Executive Director Danielle Melfi. “Our new $10 million investment is a sign of how popular these policies are among key audiences and is a down-payment on telling the American people how this legislation will impact their lives. Together, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal and the Build Back Better Agenda will do more for working families than any legislation since the New Deal, and we are laser-focused on telling Americans how President Biden’s agenda will deliver for them.”

BBT’s new campaign adds to Building Back Together’s nearly $25 million in spending so far to build support for President Biden’s agenda, including both the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal and the Build Back Better legislation. Polling has consistently shown the deep popularity of the President’s agenda, and research commissioned by Building Back Together has shown that Members of Congress who back the agenda see a 17-point boost in support in battleground states and House districts.
