NEW: BUILDING BACK TOGETHER ANNOUNCES $1.5 MILLION AD CAMPAIGN TO HIGHLIGHT SUCCESSES FROM FIRST YEAR OF BIDEN ADMINISTRATION
New TV, digital, and radio ads reach Black, Latino, and AAPI communities in AZ, FL, GA, NV, PA, and WI
Ads coincide with in-state events highlighting first-year successes of Biden-Harris Administration
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Building Back Together is announcing a new, $1.5 million TV, digital, radio, print, and billboard ad campaign to mark the one-year anniversary of President Biden’s inauguration. This is the first major ad campaign from Building Back Together in 2022.
The ads underscore the concrete ways the Biden-Harris Administration has delivered for working and middle class families during its first year in office, and targets key constituencies, including Black, Latino, and AAPI communities in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The ad campaign coincides with in-state events organized by Building Back Together featuring community leaders, including local elected officials, that will also amplify the first-year successes of the Biden-Harris Administration.
The ads will run on a variety of platforms, and distill the concrete accomplishments of the first year of the Administration in a real, direct, and moving way. The ads targeting Latino communities will run in English and Spanish, and ads targeting Asian American communities will run in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, and Korean. Ads including “Small Business Success” feature direct-to-camera testimonials, one of the best and most effective ways to communicate with the American people — from diverse voices such as small business owners, parents, and workers, who share how the Biden-Harris Administration has delivered for them.
“In just one year, the President has made good on so many of the promises he laid out on his very first day in office, delivering real progress for working and middle class families,” said Building Back Together Executive Director Danielle Melfi. “From taking on the pandemic and jumpstarting the economic recovery, to proving that government can work for the people by passing the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and American Rescue Plan, we’re wasting no time in 2022 to communicate to Americans across the country about the enormous successes of the Biden-Harris Administration.”
Building Back Together’s latest campaign adds to more than $25 million in spending to date to build support for President Biden’s agenda, including both the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal and the Build Back Better Act. Polling has consistently shown the deep popularity of the President’s agenda, and research commissioned by Building Back Together has shown that Members of Congress who back the agenda see a 17-point boost in support in battleground states and House districts.
