ICYMI: NEW POLL SHOWS BUILD BACK BETTER AGENDA CONTINUES TO RECEIVE DEEP SUPPORT FROM THE AMERICAN PEOPLE
Americans support the Build Back Better Agenda by a 42-point margin
Two in three Americans, including three in five Independents, support the President’s economic plans
Washington, D.C. — New polling from Navigator Research underlines the overwhelming support the Build Back Better Agenda continues to have with the American people. This latest research adds to other recent polling that has showed the enduring popularity of the Biden-Harris Administration’s plans to lower costs for working families by making priorities such as health care, child care, and prescription drugs more affordable while ensuring the wealthiest Americans making over $400,000 a year and big corporations finally pay their fair share.
Key highlights from the Navigator poll:
- “By a 42-point margin, two in three Americans continue to support President Biden and congressional Democrats’ new economic plan.”
- “66 percent of Americans support President Biden’s proposed economic legislation to ‘provide paid family and medical leave, establish a universal Pre-K program, expand Medicare coverage for seniors to include dental, vision, and hearing coverage, lower health care costs by allowing Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices, provide tax breaks for clean energy, and expand the Child Tax Credit for most families with children,’ compared with just 24 percent who oppose it.”
- “Support includes 61 percent of Independents and nearly two in five Republicans (39 percent).”
