BUILDING BACK TOGETHER GIVES AMERICANS CREATIVE DIGITAL TOOLS TO CELEBRATE NATION’S PROGRESS DURING FOURTH OF JULY

Downloadable and searchable content gives Americans gifs, Instagram filters and stickers to celebrate the progress made under the Biden-Harris Administration, from shots in arms, to checks in pockets, and getting people back to work

BBT launches a Snapchat filter and geotag for the National Mall celebration

Washington, D.C. — Ahead of Fourth of July, Building Back Together is launching a slate of creative digital tools and content to celebrate American resiliency and the progress made by the Biden-Harris Administration to curb the COVID-19 pandemic, get vaccine shots in arms, reboot our economy, and get America back on track.

Building Back Together is inviting Americans across the country to join in celebrating this progress — a summer of freedom and reunions, and a time to thank small business owners, parents, essential workers, and veterans — by sharing organic content with their friends, neighbors and communities. BBT’s first peer-to-peer organizing campaign will allow Americans who are hitting the road to use social media to participate in civic engagement and share content within their networks.

The digital toolkit is searchable on giphy, the #2 search engine in the world, and available for public download. The toolkit includes gifs in both English and Spanish to post on social media, Instagram filters and stickers, and a Snapchat geotag targeting the tens of thousands of visitors and locals expected to visit the National Mall during the 4th of July.

“As small businesses reopen, families gather, and Americans continue to get vaccinated at record rates, we want communities across the country to take a moment to celebrate how far we’ve come already by working together,” said Building Back Together Executive Director Danielle Melfi. “We’re inviting Americans to join us in using our new digital content to thank essential workers, support small businesses, and reflect on the progress made under the leadership of President Biden and Vice President Harris, and the work left to do to get America back on track.”
