Washington, D.C. — Building Back Together launched a new television and digital ad today highlighting the bipartisan support for the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal that the President announced alongside a group of Democratic and Republican lawmakers in June.

The 30-second ad will run on digital platforms and air on broadcast and cable TV in Washington, D.C. The buy kicks off a $10 million dollar campaign Building Back Together is launching throughout the summer to deepen the already strong support for the Build Back Better Agenda, including the latest infrastructure deal and Administration’s commitment to expanding the care economy, lowering health care costs, and making additional investments in safeguarding our climate and boosting job creation.

The ad champions the deal as “big, bold and bipartisan” and spotlights the key policy proposals with bipartisan support — including job creation, rebuilding roads and bridges, ensuring clean drinking water for American families, and expanding high speed Internet access — and the President’s promise that no American making under $400,000 a year will see their taxes go up a dime to pay for it.

“During his first five months in office, President Joe Biden has delivered for the American people by getting the pandemic under control and adding 3 million jobs — more jobs in the first 5 months of any American presidency in recorded history. Now, he’s struck a bipartisan deal that is supported by Americans of all political stripes and makes a good-faith down payment on the Build Back Better agenda. This deal will be the largest infrastructure investment in nearly a century, and it will create millions of good-paying jobs to rebuild what’s broken in America,” said Danielle Melfi, Building Back Together Executive Director. “Americans across the country want to see leaders in Washington finally work together, and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal is their opportunity to show their communities they can get to work and get it done.”
