BUILD BACK BETTER WAR ROOM INVESTS MILLIONS IN NEW SPENDING TO BOOST BUILD BACK BETTER AGENDA

Past week alone has seen more than $10 million in new investments from progressive groups to boost agenda, part of $150 million in spending from outside groups since start of August recess

Washington, D.C. — In the past week alone, progressive groups that are members of the Build Back Better War Room have announced more than $10 million in new spending on TV and digital to boost the Build Back Better Agenda in key House Districts and states across the country. Since the beginning of August recess, the Building Back Together-led War Room, has committed to spending $150 million in paid media and organizing efforts to ensure this critical legislation crosses the finish line.

Most recently:

The additional investments come as polling has consistently shown the Build Back Better Agenda to be deeply popular with the American people, and that voters are prepared to reward Members of Congress who work to pass the legislation, which would lower costs for everyday families, on everything from child care to prescription drugs, while ensuring the wealthiest Americans making more than $400,000 finally pay their fair share.

More key takeaways from the latest polling commissioned by Building Back Together:

  • Voters in battleground states and districts support the $3.5 trillion Build Back Better reconciliation plan by a double-digit margin.

    • In fact, Independent voters in battleground states back the agenda by a21-point margin.

  • Battleground voters say they are more likely to vote for a Member of Congress who supports the Build Back Better Agenda by a 17-point margin.
