BBT LAUNCHES SIX-FIGURE AD CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHTING BIPARTISAN INFRASTRUCTURE LAW INVESTMENTS IN FLORIDA
Radio ads in English and Spanish tout investments in affordable, high-speed internet
Mobile and digital billboards highlight funding for high-speed train between Tampa and Orlando
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Building Back Together is launching a six-figure ad campaign in Florida, including digital and terrestrial radio ads and billboards, touting statewide investments in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law President Biden signed last year. The radio ads in Spanish and English for Black and Latino communities feature a mother and daughter discussing how funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will increase high-speed internet access. The digital billboards will also be in both English and Spanish, placed along highways in and around Orlando, including along I-4, and will highlight funding to build a high-speed train connecting Orlando with Tampa.
Additionally, a mobile billboard will circulate along the roads in and around Orlando, including along the I-4 corridor to Tampa, promoting the high-speed rail investment.
This ad campaign from Building Back Together comes as White House Infrastructure Coordinator Mitch Landrieu travels to Orlando for an event highlighting how the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is delivering for Florida families, including by investing in transportation and high-speed internet.
“The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is delivering once-in-a-generation investments to modernize and rebuild Florida, creating good-paying union jobs and expanding opportunities for Floridians,” said Building Back Together Executive Director Danielle Melfi. “Since day one, President Biden has championed policies to increase access and opportunity for working and middle class families, fighting to build an economy from the bottom up and the middle out. We’re excited to share the impact of these historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law investments with Florida communities through this ad campaign.”
This ad campaign builds on more than $30 million in spending to date from Building Back Together highlighting the positive impacts of President Biden’s agenda. Earlier this month, BBT launched six-figure investments highlighting the President’s work to deliver the most significant, bipartisan gun safety legislation in decades, and how President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is replacing lead pipes in communities across the country.
